Dan O'Connor was born and raised in Seattle but has spent the last 20+ years in Southern Oregon practicing law and taking care of his family. Dan specializes in real estate development and land use law for all types of issues, large and small. He represents real estate developers, government entities, and property owners in a wide variety of real estate, land use, and other regulatory matters.
Dan is dedicated to his clients and is a no-nonsense, get it done kind of guy, admired by friends, clients and colleagues alike. He is an outdoor enthusiast and loves to spend time mountain bike riding, traveling, and surfing. Dan volunteers for the Family Nurturing Center, the Medford Parks Foundation, and the Southern Oregon Land Conservancy.
Dan assists with major transactions, large-scale development management, complex land use review, and obtaining land use permits in various jurisdictions throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Dan also represents clients with issues before local governments and other governmental agencies, including the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (“ODFW”), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (“USDA”). Dan has represented clients before the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals (“LUBA”).
