Garrett West is a dedicated land use attorney and small business owner, born and raised in Southern Oregon. A proud graduate of North Medford High School, he went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and his law degree from Georgetown University.

Garrett represents real estate developers, government entities, and property owners in a wide variety of real estate, land use, and other regulatory matters. This includes buying and selling properties, title review, complex parcel and lot legality analysis, and obtaining land use permits in various jurisdictions throughout Oregon. He assists clients with easement issues, zone changes, Urban Growth Boundary ("UGB") modifications, and large-scale developments such as low-income housing projects.

Garrett also represents property owners in real estate and land use issues with local governments and other governmental agencies, including the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (“ODFW”), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (“USDA”). Garrett has represented clients before the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals (“LUBA”) and the Oregon Court of Appeals.

Garrett was born and raised in Southern Oregon and is passionate about improving Oregon's housing practices. He coaches the University of Oregon Law School's mock trial team and is currently Secretary for the Dogs for Better Lives national Board of Directors, which trains assistance dogs for the hard of hearing and children with autism. He is the Associate Vice President of the Builders Association of Southern Oregon and a member of the Board of Directors of the Oregon Home Builders Association.
